Jewellery Care

When you order a piece of jewellery from Eva-Mae I hope that you will enjoy wearing it for many years to come.

In order to protect your jewellery and enjoy it for as long as possible, I've put together a few suggestions on the best way to care for your chosen pieces.

Storing your jewellery

Store in the packaging provided. All of our tissue paper is acid free, which prevents jewellery from tarnishing so quickly.

Try to avoid storing your jewellery in direct sunlight - if possible keep it in a drawer.

Store items separately - this not only prevents beads from being scratched against each other, it also reduces the chance of chains becoming tangled (and yes I speak from experience - this is definitely a case of "do as I say not as I do...!")

Wearing your jewellery

Avoid direct contact with water.

Avoid spraying perfume of hair products on or near your jewellery - ideally you should spray on any products and allow to dry before putting on your jewellery.

Direct contact with products such as hair spray can cause pearls and crystals to lose their lustre and sparkle!
